World Premiere of “Michael Schmidt: Organic Hero or Bioterrorist” to be screened at Slow Food in Bologna Italy
Dear Michael:
Great news!! The documentary has just been selected by Slow Food on Film to be part of their food festival in Bologna, Italy.
We are just putting on the finishing touches to the film, so the timing is perfect for its world premiere. This is such a great honor to be part of one of the world’s most prestigious food events. Thousands of people from around the world attend this food festival, which is held every two years.
And…the organizers have extended an invitation for you to be their guest at the two screenings on May 10th and 11th. It would be incredible if you could join us there. As you know, raw milk is legal in Italy, and so Slow Food will host a raw milk tasting after the two screenings. In 2001, Slow Food launched their Manifesto in Defense of Raw Milk Cheese and over 20,000 people signed it. It all sounds like you and the film will be receiving a warm welcome.
We will of course be entering the film into the many film festivals around North America, and will approach broadcasters to air the story on television.
Your story has a universal appeal. People are interested in hearing about the issues. Thank you for allowing me to bring your story to the screen.
