Dear Friends:
I would like to thank all and everybody for pulling together to make
last Wednesday a successful event. First of all, my thanks go out to
Judith who once again relentlessly pushed the importance of being
present and also kept the logistics straight
. Nothing can be achieved unless somebody like her understands the importance and the consequences for our future . Thank You Judith.
All our thanks go out to Nita and Kim for preparing all the MPP packages, to Jeff for arranging the logistics with Queen's Park ( Blue Bus in front of Legislature and more). The folks there were happy that no cow walked suddenly onto the grounds. Also thanks to dear Lois for making signs.
We did well . . . we left a strong impression that hit the airwaves ,TV and newspapers. Did I expect miracles? No. We did what we had to do on our way to making a difference in the future. The reaction of our Premier was extremely helpful to highlight for a lot of people why change needs to happen. Do not forget the milk is only a symbol for many issues affecting our future.
How many years does it take to bring about change? Wrong question. We need to act now and every day . We need to live in the moment . Change will happen whenever we are ready.
