Message From Michael - March 20., 2007
Dear Friends:

Sixteen weeks have gone by since the raid.  Fifteen times since then, I've driven the Blue Bus to Toronto to keep the Milk of Human Kindness flowing.  Certainly, with a lot of additional energy and defiance, we are upholding a fundamental principle of human dignity.  For a few, it is looked at as breaking the law: for many, it is a long overdue and necessary stand before an increasingly deteriorating political process that does not recognize the values of the individual.

I am so proud of the support on Tuesdays with sometimes up to eight escort cars guiding the Blue Bus to Toronto and home again. We all know that we need to keep going, fearless and with clarity.

The local Health Unit, along with the Chief Medical Officer of Health Hazel Lynn, are aggressively spreading  stories about two children getting sick from raw milk.  While it's not our milk, they purposely linking us to the story. The children are apparently from Amish families . However,  since Amish people do not defend themselves in public, they are the perfect target to spread rumours without the need to prove  the hard facts. This also will fire back. The  misuse of power as Medical Officers of Health will sooner or later haunt them. This is a propaganda war without merit. This is exactly what needs to be exposed, accountability and lack of responsibility. The former Medical Officer of Health did exactly the same thing, spreading wrong information, but got publicly corrected by a federal counterpart. This is what we can expect to happen more and more.

Good news abounds. Pam Killen and I did a very successful raw milk forum in London, Ontario, sponsored by the Weston Price Chapter. I also accepted an invitation to speak to the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario with over 100 farmers present. It seemed that all of them were in principle in support of our stand. I did not expect such a welcome. Heart warming.

We  at the farm keep up the necessary work. My involvement in this battle limits my contribution and makes it harder for everybody else. Once in a while help flows in for which we are most grateful. Cows are born to spread peace and contentment.  Our thanks to them. Amelie, the Queen's Park Cow, gave birth to a wonderful bull calf.

To all of you, Thanks and More Thanks . We have raised over $100 000 in only four months. Clayton Ruby and Kimberley Morris are doing lots and lots of ground work. The next court date is scheduled for the beginning of April to clarify location and trial date. We will keep you posted. Till then we will raise more money . There will be justice.

Thank You all
Regards Michael
