Dear Friends of Glencolton Farms and Defenders of Freedom of Choice
Clarity of thought, clarity of mind and clarity of vision are paramount
for any kind of change. We have to understand the issues, we have to
find the research on the issue and we need to be willing to argue
objectively if we are confronted with so-called fear arguments.
Any argument in regard to the danger of raw milk can be constructively countered scientifically and statistically.
I just read a letter from our Premier of Ontario. I received an almost identical letter 12 years ago from the same address with the same argument and absolutely no scientific back-up. It is our responsibility to expose how the arguments against raw milk are formulated in order to sway public opinion.
Timing is very crucial. Soon, most of the farm-born and farm-raised members of society who grew up with farm fresh milk will be too old. They are passionate supporters of the sanctity of raw milk The new generation is so well trained that the argument about the dangers of drinking farm fresh milk is very deep engrained.
Any argument and claim made by any authority needs to be carefully checked and researched, and proof asked for. These are some of the versions you will encounter:
“Potential danger . . . . has been linked . . . . Suspected . . . . can carry deadly bacteria . . . . and on and on and on.
Lots of work ahead of us. So let’s have fun.
We are still in the old year; the new year is around the corner.
