Message From Michael (Day 23)
Dear Friends of Glencolton Farms

Day 23.  A good day.  Today, finally, the new windmill was erected. Able to be seen from far away, it is another visible statement of moving forward toward a healthy future despite the mounting roadblocks. In the meantime, I am starting to miss the undisturbed daily routine of farm life. The impact of November 21st  has left some scars.

We will soon celebrate the return of the light with the upcoming solstice.  Yes, there is lots to celebrate, one day at a time. I miss having more time to prepare the bus so that we can all feel the Christmas season arriving.

We will bring about change and we will do that with determination and clarity.  It is no different than the hardship of the early settlers. The dream of change and the vision of a better future sustained and enriched their daily struggle.  We are no different.

It will be great when we  can actually live side by side with tolerance, enabling people to make fundamental decisions on their own.

Until then, let’s keep going with that vision, day by day.

Good night.

Regards Michael
