Dear Canada: Michael Schmidt is Not a Criminal
There are three
compelling reasons why Michael Schmidt’s cow-boarding program is not
wrong and why all 20 charges against him, including the recent contempt
finding, should be dismissed.
Number one: The raw milk he
produces has made no one sick—in twenty years. Claims by his health
officials and competitors that his product is ‘dangerous’ are just
that-- baseless claims designed to scare the public, with the end goal
of preventing the increasing popularity of raw milk. The Milk
Marketing Boards are right, modern, industrial dairy products from
factory cows need to be pasteurized.

Dear Government Officials in charge of protecting our Rights and Freedoms
There is progress on every level.
Today I received the decision from Justice Boswell in regards to the Contempt of Court Trial.
A total of $55 000 have to be paid according to the documents released today--$5000 as fine and $50 000 as York Region's costs.
The ruling is very interesting since it raises issues that I was not allowed to address in court.
This Ruling includes the following paragraph: "The contemptious breach
of the order accordingly involves an issue of public health and safety
and this too is an aggravating factor. "

Raw milk movie to air Tuesday Oct. 28th at 10:00 pm on CBC Newsworld
Norman Loft’s 47-minute documentary, “Michael Schmidt: Bioterrorist or
Organic Hero” will be broadcast this Tuesday October 28th at 10 pm on a
program called “The Lens”, on the CBC Newsworld channel. Tell your
friends. The film debuted last Thursday at the Planet in Focus
ecological film festival in Toronto.
