Police concerned about crowd control, at Raw Milk Trial |
Information from York Regional Police to Supporters
Please find attached, for your information and for distribution as you deem fit, the guidelines for crowd control Michael was asked to provide to as many people as possible who will be attending the trial when he told the police that he is not responsible for the behaviour of others. Needless to say, he trusts that everyone will conduct themselves in a peaceful, respectful fashion, as was done at the Legislative Assembly gatherings, even in the event of possible provocation. Again, thank you for all that you are doing.

York Regional Health Unit drags Michael Schmidt to Court three days
before his trial. Instead of waiting for the outcome of the trial, they
have used undercover surveillance, filmed the Blue Bus and cow share
members, took license plates numbers and traced them back to cow share
owners.

A week of Contrasts
I continue to be fascinated with the dynamics surrounding the Raw Milk issue. On Monday I traveled to Sacramento to testify in the state
capitol before a senate committee on Agriculture and Food safety.
California is presently in the process of formulating new legislation
in respect to raw milk.
